Ouch, mang.
My body aches all over. I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in a while. I only lift 8 lb dumbells, so I'm not sure why my arms are killing me. I can't tighten any of my arm muscles without being in pain. Oh well... hopefully they'll look nice and toned at the rate I'm going. Comical story about the gym: I used to go daily over the summer and, then, I lifted 5 lb dumbells. Many older men come into that gym as well. I was in the "free-weights" room, in the back, doing Bicep curls with my light dumbells. (Well, not-so-light to me.) While I was "lifting", I saw this incredibly burly man, probably in his 40s, searching for dumbells of his own. From the look on his face, I assumed someone took the ones he was looking for. My funny-bone kicked in. (Note: I'd never spoken to him before.) I said "Oh, I'm sorry... did I take your weights?" and gestured toward my measly dumbells. At first he was baffled. He thought I was serious. Then he understood and laughed with me. I guess what they say is true; it's rare that you find brawns AND brains. Anyyyway, back to the present, I'm sore and I just got back from a long night's worth of dance-- didn't help my poor body at all. I dance tomorrow at half-time for the basketball game but it's also my first night of working at Little Ceaser's. I have to rush out of work and go straight to the game and dance without practice OR stretching. I'm nervous! But until then... yeah yeah saywhat.
